I gave an online presentation and iPad painting demonstration to the school’s art students
During a period teaching on-line during the pandemic, Roz Hall gave our Year 9 students a highly informative talk on the recent history of digital painting followed by an engaging workshop showing how to use the different digital paint handling tools and opacity effects. Inspired by his excellent examples, the students created their own digital self-portraits in Procreate, an art app on their iPad, and we were all thrilled with the results.

Working with the Training Partnerships to give inspirational talks to A-Level Art students on the Mobile Digital Art movement. Delivered in person and online. Fellow speakers include Grayson Perry RA, Rebecca Salter RA, Martin Parr, Richard Billingham.
Roz Hall spoke at one of our A level study days in London and the students were fascinated to learn about the use of digital media to create stunning artistic works. Roz connected extremely well with the students, involving them in a practical demonstration and giving them an insight into the artistic possibilities in digital art.
