Some portraits seem like an uphill struggle. I’ve been working on this one for a few days; using Nitram Charcoal, charcoal pencils and pastels. It’s a slow process but I’m getting there… Wish me luck

Self Portrait in charcoal (2019) I worked on this piece over the Christmas break. It’s a small study, closely examining the often overlooked lumps and bumps lingering under an otherwise familiar face. The sitter has his eyes closed, allowing the viewer to observe closely and at peace without being confronted by a direct gaze.

Global marketing campaign I worked with Apple on their Start Something New campaign. During January and February 2015, all product images were removed from the walls of over 400 Apple Stores worldwide and replaced by artwork produced on Apple products. 13 artists, from across the world, were selected to participate.
