I worked with Tate Britain to write and deliver a four week course on digital art to work alongside their David Hockney exhibition
Beyond his iconic oil paintings and photographic collages, in more recent years, David Hockney has also become known as the world’s foremost iPad painter. Using the iPad drawings from his upcoming retrospective as a jumping off point, this five-week course will explore the possibilities of digital painting techniques through the use of online applications such as Procreate. Taking inspiration from the David Hockney exhibition, participants are given the tools to create their own digital masterpieces for the Tate site.
